Learning how to handle a television interview

Media training

It has to be one of the most frightening and stressful experiences for the unprepared: a radio or television interview. The microphone, the camera, the lights.. and nobody likes being put on the spot.

But broadcast interviews don’t have to be traumatic if the interviewee knows what to expect.

NH Communications can provide this all-important preparation in a completely confidential and relaxed environment. Using only trainers who have broadcast industry experience, delegates are shown how to develop a message that may be used to promote an organisation’s work or defend difficult decisions.

They are interviewed under realistic conditions using broadcast quality equipment, our media training courses can be tailored to a client’s needs, but typically last anything between half a day and a full day.

"Many thanks for a most stimulating and helpful day. It is wonderful to work with a team that is excellent, prepared, experienced, intelligent and fun" CIPR client

"Nick and John were very approachable and gave sensible advice...they made a potentially painful experience bearable" Milton Keynes Council

"I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was well presented and, even though I have done many interviews over the years, I learnt a lot about how I can improve in the future. Very worthwhile. Thank you" Peterborough City Council
